Tunisia: dinar down against dollar and euro

In a foreign exchange market characterized by a lack of liquidity in foreign currency and the absence of large exporting public operators (GCT CPG), the imbalance between supply and demand on the Tunisian foreign exchange market has worsened. As a result, the euro gained ground against the Tunisian dinar which rose from 2.1180 TD earlier this week to close at 2.1600 TD Friday, May 8, 2015, according to Tustex.

After reaching the lowest level for 4 months at 1.8990 TD on May 7, the US dollar was traded against the Tunisian dinar at 1.9230 TD on Friday, May 8.
