Reported investment in the services sector edged up by 25.3% until end April, 2022 to 369.8 million dinars (MD), according to data from the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII).
The number of reported projects has risen from 2,744 to 3,215, up 17.2%.
Once carried out, these projects are expected to generate 10,081 jobs (up 7%).
Reported investment in totally exporting services went up by 160.7% to 30.5 MD from 11.7 MD during the same period last year.
Reported foreign-participation investments in the services sector account for 12% of the total reported investments, according to the same source.
