The Director General of the National Agency for Energy Management (ANME) Fethi Hanchi stated that approximately 70 electric vehicles will be purchased for the benefit of institutions and municipalities.

In a statement to Diwan FM on the sidelines of an awareness and information day on energy conservation in Beja, he added that 50% of the vehicles the state will purchase in the coming years will be electric, a move that will be formalized through a government decision, he clarified.

During the awareness and information day, the energy transition program, which includes public institutions, the private sector, and the domestic sector—a national project implemented by the National Agency for Energy Management—was presented, according to the same source.
