The “Banque de Tunisie” has just announced that its Board of Directors has approved the financial statements for the year 2021.
These statements show a record net profit of 161.4 million dinars, compared to 102.3 million in 2020, i.e. a growth of about 58%.
The Board has therefore decided to convene an Ordinary General Meeting to be held on April 27, 2022 at which it will propose the distribution of a dividend of 0.280 dinars per share for the financial year 2021, compared to a dividend of 0.350 dinars last year.
An Extraordinary General Meeting will be held at the end of the Ordinary General Meeting to deliberate on the proposal to increase the share capital by incorporation of reserves by 45 million dinars and this, by issuing 45,000,000 new free shares allocated at the rate of one new share for five old shares, thus increasing the capital from 225 million dinars to 270 million.
The bank has almost stabilized its Net Banking Product (+1%) last year to 377.2 million dinars.
