Tunisia: BIAT France and IYU Europe sign partnership for expatriate transfers

BIAT has signed a partnership agreement with IYU Europe, a payment institution that serves banks with diasporas established in Europe through a technical platform for transactions to their countries of origin.

This partnership was complemented by a collaboration agreement between IYU Europe and BIAT France, enabling BIAT France to offer its clients access to IYU Europe’s services.

The goal is to optimize the processing of international money transfers to Tunisia in a seamless, fast, and secure manner at competitive rates.

A ceremony was held at BIAT’s headquarters to mark the signing of the partnerships with IYU Europe, aimed at developing money transfer services for Tunisians residing in Europe through BIAT France, BIAT’s subsidiary based in Paris.

IYU Europe is an innovative player in international payment services, authorized by the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) under the Banque de France.

It provides its partners with robust technology ensuring secure connectivity between European Union countries and nations in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. It stands out for its hybrid approach, combining digital services with a physical presence through a network of payment agents, including BIAT France.

Thanks to its unique model, IYU Europe meets customer expectations for digital flexibility while guaranteeing personalized in-branch support.

Through this partnership, BIAT aims to enhance the experience of its Tunisian expatriate clients (TRE) by offering greater simplicity, speed, and security in managing international transfers and payments. In practice, BIAT France clients will benefit from improved digital access via an intuitive and efficient platform, allowing them to conduct transactions at any time.

BIAT France, a subsidiary of BIAT established in 2015 and based in Paris, offers Tunisian expats competitive rates for money transfers to Tunisia, as well as various ancillary services.

Additionally, as part of its proximity and support policy, BIAT has developed the “Tounessna” offering, a dedicated service for Tunisian expats that assists them in realizing their projects in Tunisia.

BIAT reaffirms its commitment to its Tunisian expats clientele by expanding its network of partners and further facilitating fund transfer operations within a secure and optimized framework.
