After a setback in 2022, the CELLCOM Group returned to profit last year. According to the consolidated financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2023, the Group’s share of net profit amounted to 218,000 dinars, compared to a net loss of 3.3 million dinars in 2022.
This performance is mainly the result of tight control of operating costs and a sharp decrease in net financial expenses, from 2.6 million dinars in 2022 to 1.2 million dinars at the end of December, a decrease of 52%.
Over the past year, the Group’s revenues have virtually stabilized at 62.5 million dinars, while operating expenses have decreased by 2.6% to 61.1 million dinars.
As a result, the Group recorded an operating profit of 1.4 million dinars, compared to an operating loss of 336,000 dinars in 2022.
