CITY CARS, the KIA car dealership in Tunisia, has published its financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2023, which will be submitted for approval at the Ordinary General Meeting to be held on May 24, 2024.
These statements show a net profit of 30.1 million dinars, compared with 28.5 million dinars in 2022, an increase of 5.4%.
Over the past year, the company generated revenues of 361.1 million dinars, compared with 331.3 million dinars in 2022, an increase of 9%, while operating expenses rose by 9.8% from 292.5 million dinars in December 2022 to 321.3 million dinars in December 2024.
As a result, operating profit rose slightly to 39.8 million dinars, compared with 38.8 million dinars a year earlier.
Investment income amounted to 7.5 million dinars, while corporation tax totaled 16.1 million dinars.
The company is also proposing to the Annual General Meeting that it pay a gross dividend of 1.250 dinars per share, the same as last year.
