Lawand Mamondy، president of the Union of Airlines and Tourism of Kurdistan, announced the start of new flights from Erbil International Airport.
He also said that a direct flight from Erbil to Tunisia would start on July 15, with flights continuing every Monday.
According to Mamondy, this operation comes “after Tunisia’s decision to cancel visas for Iraqi citizens, thus entering a higher stage linking Erbil to the African continent”.
