The Financial Market Council (CMF) reminds management companies of their disclosure obligations in respect of the private equity funds they manage.
“They must send to the CMF, within three months of the end of the financial year, their annual accounts certified by the auditor, the annual management report and the general and special reports of the auditor,” the CMF said in a statement.
In this context, the CMF called on “companies managing private equity funds to comply with their obligations and, if necessary, to regularize their situation without delay, on pain of sanctions”.
The CMF also asked venture capital investment companies (SICARs), which manage special funds on behalf of third parties, to send it their certified accounts and the auditor’s general and special reports “within three months of the end of the financial year.”
