Flouci, the Tunisian financial super-app for French-speaking Africa, has announced that it has been shortlisted by Visa, the world leader in digital payments, to participate in the second cohort of its accelerator program for Africa.

The aim of the program is to stimulate innovation and promote financial inclusion across the African financial ecosystem.

The second cohort of the Visa Fintech Accelerator program brings together 22 start-ups operating in 28 African countries, a 55% increase on the first cohort.

This group demonstrates the richness and diversity of fintech innovation on the African continent.

The selected startups offer a range of solutions, such as neo-banking, merchant payments, credit scoring, risk and identity management, embedded finance, social commerce, escrow services, and more.

They aim to address the challenges and opportunities in the African fintech landscape, such as financial inclusion, access to credit, cross-border payments, and digital transformation.

Launched in 2020, Flouci stands out for its revolutionary approach to digital banking, which aims to democratize access to financial services in Tunisia and francophone Africa.

By offering simple, accessible and affordable banking solutions, Flouci aims to transform the region’s financial landscape.

“Flouci’s participation in this accelerator program represents a unique opportunity to accelerate our growth and expand our impact.”
