Iberostar has announced plans to revamp its hotels in Tunisia as tourism to the country recovers.
Refurbishment to rooms at the Iberostar Averroes has now been completed while work continues at the Iberostar Mahari Djerba.
The Iberostar Diar El Andalous will also be converted into a five-star property and will be the brand’s first hotel to offer the Star Prestige area, which is the ‘leisure version of an executive lounge’.
“Tunisia is growing again and it’s cheap to travel to so we are confident that UK travellers will return,” Sofie Etien, Iberostar’s trade marketing manager told Travel Daily. “These refurbishments mean we are ready to welcome them to an updated product.”
