The deficit in the industrial trade balance improved by 44.91% at the end of June 2024, reaching -713.3 million dinars, compared with -1,294.9 million dinars in the same period of 2023, according to the conjuncture newsletter for the first half of 2024 published on Monday by the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII).
Exports in the industrial sector went up by 1.1% in the first half of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, reaching 28,937.7 million dinars.
The sector’s imports amounted to 29,651 million dinars in the first half of 2024, 0.9% less than in the same period of 2023.
