The Financial Market Council (CMF) has just announced that the Société Tunisienne d’Automobiles (STA), dealer of the Chinese car brand CHERY, has applied to the CMF on April 18, 2025 for authorization to acquire control of 1,024,861 STA shares, representing 51.243% of the company’s capital, at a price of 24,400 dinars per share.
This transaction was the subject of a transfer protocol signed on April 18, 2025 between Mr. Nouri Chaabane, acting on his own behalf and on behalf of individuals and legal entities (Consortium des Immobilières Maghrébines, Société Hotel Palace, Mr. Seifeddine Chaabane and Mrs. Nedra Chaabane) and Kilani Holding.
The CMF has announced that STA shares will be suspended from trading on Monday, April 21, 2025.
STA was listed on the Tunis Stock Exchange on March 17, 2022 at a price of 17 dinars per share.
