The average money market rate (MMR) stagnated in October for the third consecutive month at 7.99%, according to the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT).
The BCT kept its key interest rate unchanged at 8% at the last meeting of its Executive Board, held on Wednesday, July 31.
The MMR was 7.98% in January, falling to 7.97% in February and 7.96% in March, before stabilizing at 7.97% in April, May and June and rising to 7.98% in July. In August it went up slightly to 7.99%.
