Tunisia: More than 1.8 billion euros in tourism receipts at end October

At the end of the first ten months of the current year, tourism receipts in Tunisia amounted to the equivalent of 6,241 million dinars, compared with 5,882 million dinars for the same period last year.

According to the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), tourism receipts were 359 million dinars higher than at the end of October 2023.

Expressed in euros, tourism receipts at the end of October totaled 1,850 million euros (average monthly exchange rate on the interbank market for the first ten months of the year: 1 euro = 3.3722 dinars).

The government estimates that by the end of this year there will be 9.8 million tourists, compared with almost 9.4 million in 2023.
