The Tunisian National Tourism Office (ONTT) will launch, next week, a new marketing campaign in the UK, in an attempt to increase the flow of tourists that declined in the wake of the Revolution.
Tourist arrivals to the Tunisia destination fell last year, because of the Revolution, but have been rising steadily in recent months. The three-month campaign aims to encourage consumers to “rediscover” the destination with the slogan “the country has more to celebrate.”
“We all know that tourism in Tunisia was hit after the Jasmine Revolution, but British visitors were quick to come back and the UK is now our third largest market,” said Wahida Jaiet, Officer in charge of UK and Ireland at ONTT.
From Monday, April 2, ads will be visible on buses and online, with more planned for next fall.
