The World Bank is seeking to recruit a technical consultant to provide advice on a large-scale solar energy storage project in Tunisia.
The consulting work will focus on a 350 MW to 400 MW solar power plant project, accompanied by a battery energy storage system.
The selected consultant will provide recommendations on the optimal configuration of the hybrid power plant and conduct a technical study covering technological scenarios, site assessment and technical analysis, grid impact, and economic and financial analysis.
The tender announcement provides further details on the scope of work, as well as the proposed timelines and eligibility criteria.
According to a World Bank statement, this work will enable the Bank to better inform the Tunisian government on the acquisition of solar parks and contribute to a broader dialogue on structuring hybrid power purchase agreements.
