SONEDE International has published its financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2023, as they will be submitted for approval to the Ordinary General Meeting to be held on June 12, 2024.
For the year ended December 31, 2023, the SONEDE subsidiary recorded a net profit of 109,000 dinars, compared to 157,000 thousand dinars the previous year, a decrease of 30%.
The company achieved a turnover of 1.75 million dinars, compared with 1.4 million dinars in 2022, an increase of around 27%. On the other hand, operating expenses increased by 33% to 1.6 million dinars.
These costs mainly consist of ‘per diem’ expenses of 518,000 dinars (+75%) and staff costs of 212,000 dinars (+55%).
As a result, the operating profit decreased by 27% to 158,000 dinars compared to 218,000 dinars in 2022.
SONEDE International is a fully exporting company whose purpose is to carry out studies and services in the water sector and to operate networks and facilities on the INTERNATIONAL market, mainly in Africa and the Middle East.
On January 28, 2022, the company’s capital was increased from 1 million dinars to 2.7 million dinars, divided into 135,800 shares with a nominal value of 20 dinars each.
