The Société Tunisienne de Verreries (SOTUVER) has just published its financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2023.
These accounts show a record net profit of 38.2 million dinars, compared with 30.8 million dinars in 2022, representing growth of around 23.7%.
The company’s revenues increased by 6% last year, from 160.3 million dinars to 170.5 million dinars between December 2022 and last December.
Operating costs were well under control, rising slightly by 3% to 125.5 million dinars from 121.4 million dinars a year earlier.
As a result, operating income increased by 15.4% to 44.9 million dinars, compared to 38.9 million dinars in 2022.
In addition, net financial expenses rose from 6.7 million dinars at the end of December 2022 to 10.1 million dinars at the end of last December, a significant increase of 52%.
On the other hand, investment income soared by 168% to 6.1 million dinars compared to 2.3 million dinars in 2022.
