Tunisia’s state grains agency has issued an international tender to purchase an estimated 25,000 metric tons of soft milling wheat, European traders were quoted by saying by Reuters on Thursday.
The origin was optional. The deadline for submission of price offers is Friday, Feb. 28, they said.
The wheat is sought in one consignment with shipment between March 25 to April 15 depending on origin supplied.
Finance for the tender is being provided by the World Bank, one of the organizations helping Tunisia in its current difficult financial position.
