Penalized by the sharp drop in income, the company New Body Line saw its net profit fall by 95% in the first half of the current year to 27 thousand dinars, against 597 thousand dinars at the end of June 2019.
The half-year turnover fell by 42% compared to the first half of last year from 3.2 million dinars to 1.8 million.
This decline is due in particular to the fall in income from sales of intelligent underwear by 61.6% to 834 thousand dinars, against 2.2 million dinars at the end of June 2019.
On the other hand, operating expenses for the period fell by only 11% to 2.1 million dinars, compared to 2.4 million at the end of the first six months of last year.
Consequently, the operating result for the period shows a deficit of 244 thousand dinars, against a surplus of 857 thousand dinars at the end of June 2019.
