Amman Chamber of Commerce to host Tunisian trade mission on November 20

The Amman Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Tunisian Embassy in Jordan, is set to host a Tunisian trade mission on Wednesday. The delegation includes several commercial and industrial companies specializing in various sectors.

According to a statement by the Chamber reported by Petra on Sunday, the mission will engage in meetings with Jordanian importers, traders, distributors, and exporters, along with Arab traders residing in the Kingdom.

Chairperson of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, Khalil Haj Tawfiq, emphasized the importance of enhancing trade, economic, and investment ties between Jordan and Tunisia.

He called on Jordanian and Arab traders, importers, and exporters to participate in the meetings.

Additional meetings for various commercial and service sectors are planned.

Haj Tawfiq highlighted that the mission’s visit represents a fresh chapter in Jordan-Tunisia economic relations, fostering joint collaboration and expanding trade partnerships.

He underscored the significance of the delegation’s visit in identifying opportunities and strengthening networking among importers and traders.

Trade between Jordan and Tunisia amounted to approximately TND 90 million from January to August 2024, with Jordanian exports focusing on chemical products, plastics, textiles, leather, metals, food products, plant products, and electrical machinery, according to Petra.
