President Kaïs Saied met on Friday at the Carthage Palace with Mohamed Agrebi, member of the Board of Directors of the Banque internationale arabe de Tunisie (BIAT), in charge of relations with public institutions, to discuss the financial institution’s support for the state’s efforts in various sectors.
The Head of State focused on the main sectors such as health, education and transport, particularly in areas where the most basic needs are lacking, according to a statement from the Presidency.
In this context, the President was informed of the preparations underway to begin the maintenance and renovation of a number of educational establishments before the start of the next school year in several regions such as Mellassine, Raoued, Kasserine and other interior regions.
In addition to the educational institutions, the Head of State was briefed on the renovation project of the Ibn Khaldoun House of Culture.
During the meeting, the President of the Republic stressed that Tunisia is capable of meeting any challenge with its own potential and the concerted efforts of all, based on a deep sense of national responsibility.
