SMART Tunisie announced that its Board of Directors, at its meeting on Thursday, April 3, reviewed the company’s activities during the 2024 financial year and approved the individual and consolidated financial statements for the 2024 financial year, which were submitted to the statutory auditors.
The individual financial statements show a net profit of 15.6 million dinars (+2%), while the consolidated financial statements show a net profit of 15 million dinars.
The Board of Directors has decided to convene the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for Friday, 25 April 2025 at 9 a.m. at the Company’s registered office and to propose the distribution of a dividend of 0.900 dinars per share, of which 0.540 dinars will be deducted from the tax-exempt share premium and 0.360 dinars from the retained earnings subject to withholding tax.
The reduction in the dividend to be paid in respect of the financial year 2024 compared to the dividend paid last year (1.050 dinars) is due to the effect of the capital increase, as a result of which the number of shares constituting the Company’s capital increased from 8,677,237 to 10,123,443.
Consequently, the total amount of dividends to be distributed this year will be the same as last year, i.e. 9.1 million dinars.
