SMART Tunisie has published its interim financial statements for the six months ended June 30, 2024. These statements show a net profit of 9.2 million dinars, compared with 8.4 million dinars at the end of June 2023, an increase of 9.1%.
In the first half of the current year, the company generated sales of around 180.1 million dinars, compared with 158.6 million dinars a year earlier, up 13.5%.
Operating expenses rose from 144.2 million dinars in June 2023 to 165 million dinars last June, including 155.6 million dinars in purchases of goods consumed.
The operating result therefore showed a surplus of 15.2 million dinars in the first half, compared with 14.5 million dinars at the end of June 2023.
Net financial expenses were virtually unchanged at 6.4 million dinars, while investment income rose by 10.7%.
