The Tunisian Takaful Insurance Company, “At-Takafulia,” has released its financial statements as of December 31, 2024.
The financial statements reveal a combined net balance sheet total of 179.6 million dinars, with net assets and positive equity of 35.1 million dinars, including a net profit of 1 million dinars for the company (-42% compared to 2023).
In 2024, At-Takafulia sold its stake in the Cap Bon Polyclinic and settled the third installment for the acquisition of a new headquarters (2 million dinars).
Last year, “Wakala” commissions amounted to 7.5 million dinars, compared to 7.2 million dinars at the end of 2023, while “Moudharaba” commissions reached 787 thousand dinars, up from 575 thousand dinars.
As for investment income, it stood at 3.7 million dinars at the end of 2024, an 80% increase compared to 2023, while investment charges amounted to 1.3 million dinars, related to losses from the realization of investments.
