To develop the regions in Tunisia, it is important to promote inclusion through, in particular, the improvement of the quality of life and logistics and encouraging the clustering, said Aslen Berjeb, member of the executive board of the Confederation of Tunisian Citizens’ Enterprises (CONECT).
Clustering means the grouping of regions by economic specialization and around a specific activity, said Berjeb who spoke Thursday at a pre-opening panel of the Investment Forum in Tunisia (TIF) held from June 23 to 24, on the theme of the attractiveness of regions and opportunities.
The objective is to control the value chain from end to end and export Tunisia-made finished products, instead of raw materials and semi-finished products, he said.
