The sale of goods and property seized by Customs generated revenue estimated at about 8 million dinars for the benefit of the state treasury, the Directorate General of the Tunisian Customs said in a statement.
Customs’ revenue increased by 9.8% in the third quarter of 2014, compared with the same period in 2014.
Goods have been seized and stored, for 3 years, in border and regional customs offices (Sfax, Rades, Sousse, La Goulette and Medenine).
