DMD France, the family-owned workwear company, has just acquired a new clothing manufacturing unit in Tunisia for 2 million euros, which will allow it to continue its development. This information was reported by the French website BrefEco.
According to the French company’s website, DMD France was founded in 1989.
In 1992, the manufacturer acquired GA Confection, a second Tunisian workshop specializing in ‘brand image’ garments.
In 2005, the two companies merged to form the DM Confection Group.
Finally, in 2016, the company decided to expand its expertise by acquiring Déco-Services, a Tunisian workshop specializing in textile branding solutions.
Located near Sousse in Tunisia, the three garment manufacturing workshops represent one of the manufacturer’s main strengths. Spread over three sites with a total surface area of 10,000m2, the group employs 600 Tunisian staff.
