Tunisia’s trade posted an increase of 43% in exports at the end of February 2018, compared to the same period of 2017, and 23.7% in imports, according to official government figures.
Therefore, the import coverage rate for exports has improved by 10.1% to 74.9% at the end of February, compared to 64.8% in the corresponding period of last year.
The rate of coverage of trade under the general regime increased by 11.1% compared to that of 2017, which contributed to the stabilization of the Tunisian dinar.
