Tunisia: FDI up 24.5% compared to 2011 (8 months)

Non-portfolio foreign direct investment (FDI) posted a 24.8% increase during the first 8 months of 2012, compared to the same period of 2011 and up 2.2% compared to 2010, Director General of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA), Noureddine Ben Zekri told Africanmanager.

Businesses creations reached 88 during the same period, to 88, while extensions of companies amounted to 109.
