Michel Bauza, Director of Business France North Africa – Tunisia, has announced that Tunisia remains the leading African foreign investor in France in 2023.
Bauza also pointed out that “North African companies launched 38 new investment projects in France in 2023, creating around 720 jobs. And half of these companies (19) were created by Tunisian entrepreneurs, generating more than 360 jobs,” he added.
He went on to say that this represents a significant change in that Tunisia has overtaken Morocco, which is in first place in terms of business and job creation in France, and is in second place with 17 projects and 341 jobs.
Algeria completes the picture, but is far behind with only 2 projects and 17 small jobs created.
