Tunisia was the leading African investor in France in 2023, both in terms of the number of projects and the number of jobs created in the Hexagon, according to data collected by AfricanManager.
Africa accounted for 3% of all FDI projects in France in 2023.
Ten African countries contributed to this result, including Tunisia, which occupies a unique position with 19 projects and 361 jobs, ranking first on the African continent with over 35% of the number of projects from the continent (19) and almost 40% of the number of jobs created, and 17th worldwide.
It is followed by Morocco (17 projects and 341 jobs), Senegal (5 projects), South Africa, Cameroon, Algeria, Madagascar, Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire and Mauritius.
