A large influx of Libyans was recorded Monday in the Ras Jedir border crossing following the latest developments in Libya.
According to security sources 4,000 cars and at least 8,000 people have crossed the Tunisian border between Sunday and Monday.
Customs Units conducted thorough searches to prevent illegal arms crossing.
Several diplomatic missions in Libya have also left Libya to settle temporarily in Tunisia.
