The 12 Tunisian banks listed on the stock exchange achieved a cumulative net banking income (NBI) of 1.296 billion dinars by late March, posting a 5.5% rise in comparison with Q1 of 2020.
The income of these 12 banks accounts for over 27% of the cumulative income of all 79 listed companies, according to a document entitled “Development of Indicators and Income of Listed Companies,” released recently by the Tunis Stock Exchange.
The document shows BIAT achieved the best banking income (249.7 million dinars) in Q1, followed by BNA (188.1 MD), STB (150.4 MD), BH (132.6 MD) and Attijari Bank (129.9 MD).
