Investments related to projects whose cost exceeds 1 million Tunisian dinars (MTD) fell 11.4% from 2,267.2 MTD in the first nine months of 2013 to 2,008.4 MTD in the same period of 2014.
The number of projects increased from 363 to 401 during the first nine months of 2014, i.e. 10.5%. They will create 15,486 job positions, against 20,103 job positions during the first nine months of 2013, a decrease of 23%.
Projects of 1 MTD which represent, however, only 14.1% of the number of reported projects and 38.6% of the number of jobs, total 82.4% of all reported investment.
Among the 357 projects (I> 1 MTD) reported in the first nine months 2014, five projects totaled an investment of 843.3 MD, i.e. 42% of the total investment (I> 1 MD).
