The Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining has planned the creation of 3 large industrial areas in Mahdia: Chebba, Ouled Echamekh and Souassi. This will be done in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Works.
The announcement was made by Kamel Ben Naceur, Minister of Industry in an interview with Jawhara FM. He said that the industrial area of Souassi will be the largest nationally with an area of 300 hectares near the highway.
“The specificities of the region will make the area one of the largest development projects in Tunisia,” he noted.
