The number of tourists who visited the island of Djerba between January 1 and July 31, 2014 exceeded 588,000 tourists from various nationalities, statistics’ officer at the Regional Tourism Commission in Djerba, Abdelkader Naili told Mosaique FM.
The rate of visits to the island of Djerba increased by 4.5% compared to the same period last year, he added.
