The Executive Board of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), noted at its meeting Wednesday, February 25, 2015, that the positive evolution of the political situation has not affected the economic situation in the new year marked by the emergence of negative economic indicators overall except in external trade.
Indeed, this finding concerned, mainly the industrial sector whose overall production index was down 0.9% in October 2014, particularly in relation to the decline in non-manufacturing industries and more especially the mining and energy sectors.
