Tunisia: number of cruise passengers multiplies by 7 in 2017 (OMMP)

Passenger and car traffic in ports has increased by 3% and 1% respectively in 2017 compared to 2016, i.e. 741 thousand passengers and 294 thousand cars, according to proprietary data provided by the Office of the Merchant Marine and Ports (OMMP) to AfricanManager.

The number of cruise passengers reached 5,322 in 2017 against 752 in 2016. Indeed, the number of cruise ships that docked at the port of La Goulette during the same period reached 6 against 2 in 2016.
