The staff and managers of the Redeyef phosphate washing plant have recently succeeded in restarting the plant’s engines for the first time in five years, according to Mosaique FM.
This resumption will enable the Gafsa Phosphate Company to increase its production capacity, as the plant produces approximately 2,500 tons of filtered phosphate daily, contributing to the overall production capacity of the company.
It is worth noting that since the end of the sit-in by a group of unemployed individuals at the plant, the staff of the Redeyef Reforestation, Environment, and Gardening Company have undertaken cleaning and rehabilitation efforts to resume operations.
