Tunisia: “SAH Lilas” group stabilizes profit to 13 million dinars in H1 2022

The “Société d’Articles Hygiéniques” (SAH) has just published its consolidated interim financial statements as at June 30, 2022. These statements show a net profit (group share) of 13.3 million dinars, in perfect stagnation compared to 2021.

For the first half of the current year, the group has achieved a turnover of 408 million dinars, against 341.2 million a year earlier, posting an increase of about 20%.

As for operating expenses, they rose from 297 million dinars at the end of June 2021 to 363.4 last June 30, a growth of 22%, including 245.3 million dinars of purchases consumed materials and packaging (+26%).

Consequently, the group’s half-yearly operating result is up 13% to 34.7 million dinars, compared to 30.7 million dinars at the end of the first half of last year.

In addition, net financial expenses totaled 19.5 million dinars at the end of June 2022 against 18.2 million during the same period in 2021, including 17.5 million dinars of interest and 2 million of exchange losses.
