Société de Fabrication des Boissons de Tunisie (SFBT) on Thursday published its interim financial statements for the six months ended June 30.
For the first six months of the current year, SFBT posted a net profit of 154.6 million dinars, compared with 150.2 million dinars for the same period in 2023, representing growth of 3%.
At the end of June, the company’s revenues stood at 367 million dinars, compared to 357.5 million dinars a year earlier, an increase of around 2.7%.
Operating expenses increased from 279.4 million dinars to 290.6 million dinars, including 193.1 million dinars for the purchase of consumables, 38.2 million dinars for the purchase of goods and 22.7 million dinars for personnel costs.
As a result, the operating profit for the first half was 79.4 million dinars, compared to 81.6 million dinars at the end of June last year, a decrease of 2.8%.
In addition, the company generated investment income of 94.6 million dinars in the first half of the year, compared to 84.2 million dinars last year.
