The Société Industrielle d’Appareillage et de Matériels Electriques (SIAME) has published its interim financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2008. These accounts show a net profit of 1.1 million dinars, compared with 1.9 million the previous year, a fall of 40%.
The company generated revenues of 19.5 million dinars, compared with 15.8 million dinars in the first half of 2022, a growth of 23%. Operating expenses rose from 13.7 million dinars to 17.2 million dinars, an increase of 25%.
As a result, the operating profit for the period went up by 9% to 2.2 million dinars, compared to 2 million dinars at the end of the first six months of 2022.
However, net financial expenses amounted to 1 million dinars, compared to 476 thousand dinars in the previous year.
On the other hand, investment income fell to 90 thousand dinars, compared with 516 thousand dinars at the end of June 2022.
