The trade deficit narrowed to TND -12,194.7 MDT at the end of August 2023, compared with TND -16,913.7 million in the first eight months of 2022.
The coverage rate increased by 8.3 points to 76.9% compared with the same period in 2022, according to the August 2023 foreign trade at current prices note published on Tuesday by the National Statistics Institute (INS).
