Mega projects, whose agreements were signed during the recent visit to Tunisia by the Emir of Qatar, include the Skhira refinery, a project that was abandoned and is now back on stage.
According to the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of Economy, Ridha Saidi, quoted by Assabah Ousbouii, the project will open up new prospects for the energy sector in partnership with Algeria and Libya, since Tunisia is directly connected to the oil sites in both countries.
The project will provide in its first stage 2,500 jobs.
