The Société de Production Agricole de TEBOULBA (SOPAT) has published its financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2023, which will be submitted for approval to the Ordinary General Meeting to be held on September 24, 2024.
These financial statements show a net profit of 5.7 million dinars, compared to 0.8 million dinars in 2022, an increase of 577%.
This performance is mainly the result of the sharp increase in revenues recorded last year, with revenues of 235.9 million dinars, up 33% compared to 2022.
Operating expenses rose from 175.8 million dinars to 229 million dinars, a rise of around 3%.
As a result, operating income increased by 66% to 8.3 million dinars, compared to 5 million dinars in 2022.
Net financial expenses amounted to 2.1 million dinars, compared to 2.4 million dinars at the end of December 2022.
In addition, investment and modernization of the company’s production facilities will continue in 2023, with an investment budget of 4.3 million dinars, excluding the acquisition of assets sold to GALLUS (shareholder) for a total of 2 million dinars.
