The turnover achieved by SOTIPAPIER in 2021 saw an increase of 55% compared to the year 2020 to 127.8 million dinars.
This strong growth results from the increase in turnover generated both by Kraft paper (+50%) and corrugated paper (+66%).
This is mainly due to a strong recovery in activity in 2021 both in terms of volumes sold and prices, which returned to 2019 levels in Q3 2021.
The company recalls that its business in 2020 was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in Q2.
As for production, it increased from 47,226 tons in 2020 to 59,185 tons in 2021, posting an increase of 11,959 tons (+25%).
This increase comes mainly from the growth of production of Kraft paper up to 6,920 tons (+37%) and corrugated paper (Testliner and Fluting) of 5,039 tons (+18%).
