STAR Assurances has just announced that at its meeting today, March 7, 2025, its Board of Directors reviewed the company’s activities and approved the individual and consolidated financial statements for the 2024 financial year.
These accounts show premiums written of 431.2 million dinars (+11%), an individual net profit of 29.8 million dinars (+10%) and a consolidated net profit of 27.5 million dinars (+18%).
The Board of Directors also decided to convene an Ordinary General Meeting on Tuesday, April 22, 2024 at 9.30 a.m. at the company’s registered office and to propose the distribution of a dividend of 8.397 dinars per share, compared to 6.430 dinars last year.
The Board of Directors has also decided to convene an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on Tuesday April 22, 2024 at 10.30 a.m. in order to:
– Carry out a split operation reducing the nominal value of the shares from 10 dinars to 5 dinars,
– Carry out a capital increase through the incorporation of reserves at the rate of seven (7) new bonus shares for six (6) existing shares.
The dividend entitlement date for the new bonus shares will be January 1, 2025.
