Tunisia is hosting, from May 15 to 16, 2012, the Arab Investors Forum, said
the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA) in a statement released Tuesday.
“This forum is a major Arab economic event and even a great opportunity for marketing Arab projects in search for funding be it by the Arab private sector or by specialized Arab financial institutions (banks, funds…),” the employers’ organization said.
This event, to be organized by the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Arab countries and the UTICA, will be an opportunity to discuss ways to stimulate Arab joint investment, also said the statement.
The organization of this forum in Tunisia comes in response to the call of Mrs. Wided Bouchamaoui, Chairwoman of the employers’ organization who is paying a visit to Lebanon (March 12-14) heading a delegation of Tunisian businessmen, on the 60th anniversary of the general union of chambers of commerce for Arab Countries.
